Help us tell the story of Cobalt's waterways.

Do you have historic photographs, family stories, maps, documents, or memories connected to Cobalt's lakes, rivers, streams, mining, or the Water Act?

We'd love to hear from you. Your contribution may become part of this travelling exhibition.

What we’re looking for:

  • historic photographs and family snapshots up to the year 2000 of:

    • Cross Lake

    • Cobalt Lake

    • Kerr Lake

    • Sasaginaga Lake

  • maps, letters, and newspaper clippings

  • memories and stories of work and play on the water

  • images and stories of skating, swimming, fishing, boating

  • Indigenous knowledge, shared with permission

  • environmental observations

  • mining and water management

We are especially interested in historical photographs showing everyday work and play in, on, and around the waterways of Cobalt and region.
